Fortress of Pharaoh’s Island (also called Coral Island or Geziret Faroun), is located eight kilometers south of Taba and 250 meters off the coast. You can follow the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia and explore the fully renovated fortress of medieval character. This is also a great site for snorkelling and diving.
St. Katherine Monastery and Museum is fronted by gardens and cypress trees and is currently owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its library is home to the world's second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You can see the Burning Bush and a large number of antique works of art.
Ein Kid is an oasis filled with palms, streams, and beautiful scenery. It is the perfect place for an afternoon stroll and picnic.
